barrowed Milk’ is a project that includes a performance and an installation, and was presented in the group exhibition ‘Separation’ at the Hanina Gallery in Tel Aviv. The work began with presence. I  sat for 3 hours wearing a ‘milk suit’ – a garment connected to a milk pump. During the stay in the gallery space, I pumped breast milk from my body into two tubes in which the Avraham bush seedlings grew. The seedlings were grown in a perlite substrate (planting substrate rich in minerals characterized by high absorption capacity) at the end of the performance the suit remained attached to the seedlings and the milk continued to drip slowly for a month.
